Navigate, fly: Seamlessly navigate over maps and 3D terrains, zoom-in to places of interest.
Browse a wealth of information: View Points of Interest on the map, thematically organized in categories like public services, accommodation, leisure, etc. Drag the mouse over an item to get brief information, or click on it to get the full info.
Search – Find – Locate... Instantly: Search the underlying map database with keywords, get all matching objects and instantly “fly-to” their location to browse related information.
Locate Addresses: Type in any address and you’re already there!
Search using “smart filters”: Use “smart filters” to define constraint conditions for the geometric and attribute characteristics of the searched objects (for example, objects falling within a circle of specific radius and having specific attribute values). Filters are defined graphically on the screen and can be saved for instant future retrieval.
Create your ownmap objects: Easily add points, lines or polygons on the map and annotate them with attributes or attachments (photos, documents, etc). Create your vacation photo album, your personal cadastral, your favorite routes in the city and share with friends. Cruiser Standard allows for 100 objects. Cruiser Plus or Pro support unlimited number of objects.
Make measurements, take snapshots: Measure distances and areas.Mark places by taking snapshots. Jump instantly to marked places by activating the corresponding marks.
Work with yourGPS: Connect your GPS to see your trail in real-time, or import saved waypoints and routes from your GPS in NMEA or gpxformats.
Get routing instructions: Enter a departure and destination point and Cruiser will calculate the best route based on either the travel distance or estimated travel time.Written navigation instructions are also provided.
Print your maps: Customize the look of your maps and print them as shown on the screen. Cruiser Standard supports screen resolution and size.
Pick a “channel”: With Cruiser you can select, browse and use many “map channels”, i.e. maps and geographic spaces coming from different providers, possibly served from different servers. Each channel encapsulates the content and look & feel of its provider–operator and works independently from others.
Choose your language: At any time, you can choose to switch to a preferred language* for the User Interface and the channel contents.
*Among a list of languages supported by the selected channel.
Create your own geo-databases: Automatically geo-code your data bases by importing listings in .csv format containing addresses together with other attributes. Create your own geo-coded customers’ database to see their spatial distribution, see your chain of stores on the map, manage the daily routes of your fleet, and much more.
Routing with intermediate stops: In addition to the origin and destination points, you may define any number of intermediate points that a route should include, and Cruiser will calculate best routes that pass from all these intermediate stops.
Print high resolutionmaps: Print maps of any area –not just the screen–in high resolution (300dpi). Max paper size is A3.
Create your routes’ database: Store the routes as calculated by Cruiser and create the database of itineraries of your vehicle fleet, of your salesmen, etc.
Print bigmaps: Print maps of any designated area in high resolution (300dpi)and up to A1 paper size.
Track moving objects: Monitor the trail of your fleet of cars or salesmen or any other entity that you want to track, in real time via GPS/GPRS devices or off-line, by importing recorded GPS data.
Edit attribute data in tabular form: View and edit the underlying attribute table of any map layer in grid form. Sort objects by column, select multiple objects, add or delete objects.
Create animated films: Create animated presentations of high quality: 3D fly overs, dive-in/outs etc.
Import –export data: Exchange data with other applications and GIS systems by exporting/importing selected layers in popular file formats like ESRI shapefilesand .csv.
Work with “remote”layers: Work on geo-data layers residing on remote servers (hosted by your enterprise server or external data centers). In that way, data can be managed centrally (backed up, etc) and easily shared with other members of the team (no need for file exchanges or version control).
Collaborate with peers in real time: While working with server hosted layers any modifications made to a layer’s objects by each user, are instantly propagated to all other users that are viewing or editing the specific layer.
